Thank you so much for your post - you have two of the most important ingredients for your success here which are passion & action! I can tell that you really care and are taking steps to make your dream a reality! I recommend that you listen to this audio from Deepak Chopra as many of the things he covers may appeal to you. As you remain present and watch for "Criminal Optimism", also watch for clues as to how this project may evolve and perhaps even take you in a different direction that you may not have expected. All the best!

Hi Sharon!
Thank you so much for your post – you have two of the most important ingredients for your success here which are passion & action! Everyone having their own living unit, with a lot of shared facilities. Affordable, accessible to people with physical challenges and not restricted by age. Sort of like an old fashioned summer camp with a little more comfort. Not too large, energy efficient and maybe even "off the Grid" and totally self sustaining. Will probably need a small commercial component in order to create income to help sustain. A working partnership with all residents participating to some degree. I am starting to put all ideas in a book and look around for "where" and types of properties, and how to fund and I am finding that I really need to find the property to be able to fine tune the plan for this. Have to have the plan in place to look for funding so its sort of a round a bout. Meantime, we need to start marketing to get some deals to earn some $ to get it all started. Life intervening all the way........... I also realize that it is going to take the interest of many others to help make this happen........I can't do it by myself, so guess I'll just put the idea out there like a seed and see where the wind takes it. I guess what I'm good at is dreaming up a Big Idea. No problem with Optimism........just have to watch out for what I have always called Criminal Optimism......where you get carried away with the idea and it gets you into real trouble.

I have had a purposeful vision for over ten years now that I need to create an intentional community with a resort atmosphere, low key on one level, in a natural setting. Pilates on Tues. Yoga on Wed. stretching at home rest of the week or walk. Take time to BREATHE every day. Deep Breathe. Pay attention to what I eat and drink....keep in balance and things that are good for me. Wake up naturally every day (this is luxury to me) and get in my 1-3 hours of reading time a.m. A little social time daily......lunch or dinner with friends or family...a few phone calls....walk and talk....whatever happens. Get outside daily.......water garden, walk with friends, go somewhere, .......I play when I have the opportunity and work the rest of the time. My key is balance and make some progress forward every day. Also keeping my day varied helps me from getting bogged down and stale. I try to work with my natural cycles as much as possible. Get more done that way........and keep going when I'm in the "flow". I don't usually multi-task, but do multiple things during the day.....try to concentrate on one at a time.

Do some exercise every day.
