What’s your excuse?

“We have more ability than will power, and it is often an excuse to ourselves that we imagine that things are impossible.”
~ François de la Rochefoucauld

I work with some very successful individuals who have confirmed one of my own beliefs – that if a person REALLY wants to be a certain way or achieve a certain goal, they’ll find a way to do it.

The key characteristic that these successful individuals have in common, I find, is the way they approach any problem or challenge:

  • They focus on solutions, NOT on blaming;
  • They focus on possibilities, NOT on limitations;
  • They focus on what needs to be done (and by when), NOT on excuses;
  • They focus on people’s abilities,  NOT on people’s liabilities.

So what are YOU focusing on?
