  1. Thanks Deborah,

    That was a good reminder.
I practice Yoga once a week and we always practice out
breathing. It really does help calm down and focus.
And that helps in figuring our where your energy is going.
There is so much to do with this Fortune Builders program
and everything else going on in my life, that all these tips
help…as I need to get lots more out of the energy I am expending.

and good luck with your Blogs

    • Yoga is great indeed and they do put a lot of emphasis on the breath – that being the most important part of the practice!
Thank you for stopping by for your comment, Sharon!

      Hi Debora,
Your comments were right on time, I was starting to get down on myself for not having accomplishing more in one area because of the demands in another that were not in my plans for today.

      Thanks again,
      James,

      • Hi James.
Unfortunately with the pace that we find ourselves moving in, it’s easy to forget that we are human beings, not human doers!
I’m glad to hear that my message reached you at the right time – thanks for writing!

Great job on the video blog. It’s interesting, what you’re suggesting is basic yet so many times I forget to just breathe in and out when stressed out. It’s so easy to say, but hard to remember to do. Maybe just saying out loud, Breathe Robin! The world’s not coming to an end. Yes, I’m one of “those” type people.

    Thanks again for sharing!

    Debora Hi,
Your video blog on how to deal with Overwhelm completely “hit the nail on the head” with me…lately I feel that I’ve been juggling too many “balls” all at the same time…sometimes not knowing if I am spending my energy efficiently…and that’s what frustrates/overwhelms me most! But now thanks to your video blog, I have a solution = I am Breathing Deeply as we speak & already feel better!
Thank You For Being a Great Coach & An Inspiration,
    J.T.

Thanks for the video. It seems that those 2 main points can be things we do automatically, that is, take a deep breath and think “hang on, stop” what is going on. I am a nurse, my problem and I guess a lot of us is… I do this almost automatically, and for a second or even a few minutes I can reconnect, but then, because of the demands of nurse managers, the patient, the phone, the meds that are overdue in being given, the machine that goes “beep” etc etc., that I am not taking my lunch break (although of course I don’t get paid for not taking it) then at the end of the shift I go through the charts and progress notes etc., and usually leave 3/4 hour after my shift ended. As I work for an agency, it is hard to do the tips I read, that is sit down, work out a plan, because often the client only gets an agency nurse in for a set number of hours, so other people may have started at say 1pm, had handover, and then there is still the earlier shift on for a cross over time, but by the time I start, and get told, you need to go here, you are the only nurse in that area, and then realise you have multiple tasks to do, and usually they book you so you come in at a time when meds are due immediately e.g. lunch time…So HELP, as I feel I am drowning, and though what you have said is very true I can’t sustain it for more than a few minutes, and I just don’t get time factored into my shift to sit down and organise my tasks. Any ideas would be so good, as I have just been diagnosed as a Diabetic this week as well, so juggling BGL taking, food charts, being super aware that I have missed a tea break, then a meal break and existed on water for 8 hours and havent even been to the toilet….!!!
